For massive download failures, Microsoft offers the Quick Machine Recovery feature. If Windows does not start several times, the computer goes to the recovery environment, connects to the network and checks for a special fix in the Windows Update. Microsoft prepares such a package after discovering a massive problem, and the device downloads it, installs and reloads without the user's actions. The feature is available in Windows 11 24H2 and newer.
For problems on one or more computers, the system can be returned at a certain point in time. Windows automatically saves the status of the system, applications, settings and local files. By default, the shot is created every 24 hours and stored for up to 72 hours. After the failure, the user selects the desired point in the recovery environment, after which the computer returns to the saved state in a few minutes. The feature works in Windows 11 Home, Pro and Enterprise version 25H2 and newer.
This pullback also affects user data. Files, passwords, certificates, keys and settings changed after the selected point is created will be lost. Cloud data, such as files in OneDrive, does not change. To restore the system from the Windows environment, you will need a BitLocker key.
In case of serious damage, Microsoft is testing Cloud rebuild. The feature fully formats the system drive, downloads from the Update a suitable Windows image, the latest monthly security update and the necessary drivers, and then installs the system anew. Installation drive or pre-prepared image is not required. Now Cloud is available to participants of the Windows preliminary evaluation program in the experimental channel and is designed primarily for devices running Microsoft Intune.
If the computer is physically, lost, stolen, or isolated during the investigation of the incident, organizations may temporarily provide an employee with a cloud computer through Windows 365 Reserve. Settings, corporate applications and synchronized files can be restored on a temporary system while the main computer is not available.

The company recommends completely overstopping the system only in cases where simpler methods did not help.
